AFIQ does not diagnose, treat, or replace professional judgment. The modes are designed to support and structure existing human thinking — not to claim clinical effects.

AFIQ is currently available as a private demo. The purpose is to test the depth, usefulness, and direction of the cognitive experience — not to present a final polished product.
Active development notice
The current version may be slower than expected. This is known, expected, and already part of the development roadmap. Feedback will help improve clarity, speed, language, flow, and usability.

AFIQ is being developed for moments when people need space to think honestly — without unnecessary exposure. During this early prototype phase, testers should not enter highly sensitive personal, legal, medical, or financial information.
ROADMAP
From research to private prototype.
2025 — Research & concept formation
AFIQ began as a research and exploration process around human agency, AI interaction, privacy, cognitive structure, and human-AI collaboration.
Early 2026 — Prototype development
The first working prototype translated the research foundation into a functional cognitive engine with multiple modes and guided interaction flows.
Current phase — Private testing
The focus now is experience quality, mode behavior, response quality, safety framing, speed, and product clarity.
Next phase — Deployment direction
AFIQ is being prepared for enterprise/on-demand deployments and a future B2C lite version for individual users.
WHY AFIQ
The name carries the idea of directed flow.
The brand is AFIQ — always with a Q. It is one product, one engine, one name. The linguistic roots below are the inspiration behind that name, not separate brands.
Hebrew · linguistic root
אפיק
The Hebrew word אפיק (transliterated afik) refers to a channel or streambed through which water flows. It inspired the brand name AFIQ — a metaphor for the channels of thought, and the user's right to direct them.
Arabic · linguistic association
أفيق
In Arabic, أفيق (transliterated afīq) carries the sense of becoming awake or regaining lucidity. We connect this carefully — not as a definitive translation — with the qualities AFIQ aims to support: clarity, awareness, and considered thought.

AFIQ can also be read as Artificially Formed Intelligent Questions. It is not primarily an answer engine. It is a question engine — one that helps the user think, not one that thinks for the user.
